This page shows you a set of techniques that will allow you to reduce fractions to their lowest terms in primary school Math courses.

Note: My friend Carima M., a wonderful teacher from Ireland, points out: We know that we are finished reducing a fraction, when either the numerator or denominator has become a prime number, except when the numerator is 2, in which case the denominator must be an odd number.

She is correct, of course, and in the next version of this video I will be sure to explain it that way.
